As Cengiz Enerji, while serving in the fields of energy generation, distribution, and trade with our family of 20,000 people, we are also leading the way toward a sustainable future through our renewable investments.

With an installed capacity of 5.221 MW in Türkiye and 5.701 MW in total, we work to shape the future of energy. Together with our family of 20,000 people, we operate in electricity generation, distribution, retail sales, as well as natural gas distribution and trade, and with our renewable-based generation investments, we lead the construction of a sustainable future.

Through our renewable energy investments, we both accelerate the transformation of the sector and strengthen our environmental sustainability goals. Our hybrid power plant in Bingöl, which is Türkiye’s first and the world’s second largest hybrid power plant, has the capacity to meet the annual electricity needs of 400,000 households. By expanding our hybrid power plant investments, we aim to further enhance efficiency and generation capacity in renewable energy.

With our leadership in hydroelectric power, we supply approximately 5% of Türkiye’s renewable-based installed capacity. Our hydroelectric power plants, with a total capacity of 2,290 MW, have positioned us as the largest hydroelectric power producer in Türkiye; while with 821 MW of solar and 119 MW of wind installed capacity, as well as our ongoing projects, we continue to steadily grow in the field of renewable energy.

We Are Part of Uzbekistan’s Energy!

With the projects we have carried out in Uzbekistan, we have become an important player in regional energy supply. We commissioned natural gas combined cycle power plants in Tashkent (240 MW) and Sirdaryo (240 MW), with a total capacity of 480 MW. In addition, with our new 550 MW power plant project launched in Jizzakh, we continue our efforts to meet Uzbekistan’s growing energy demand.

Our sustainability vision is based on the goals of increasing energy efficiency, implementing environmentally friendly projects, and promoting the use of renewable energy sources. In this direction, we are also closely assessing the renewable energy potential in the country. Furthermore, contributing to regional development, supporting local employment, and adding value to society through social responsibility projects are among our top priorities.

As one of the largest producers in Türkiye’s energy sector, with our operational and ongoing power plants, we continue to work both in our country and worldwide for a sustainable and innovative future.

We planted 217,739 new trees in our 8 businesses in 2023, increasing the total number of trees to 2,177,379.
